413 Virtual Platform Hearing
Good Morning Team,
This is short notice, but our town committee is co- sponsoring a special platform meeting just for the 413 area. The State Democratic Party wants to hear from you!
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A DELEGATE TO PARTICIPATE!
This is a great opportunity for those who can not make the convention to make their voices heard in shaping our party’s values and priorities for the draft of the 2025 MassDems Party Platform. The Democratic Committees of Springfield, Longmeadow, Chicopee, and Wilbraham are facilitating a 2025 Platform Meeting for our region Sunday, July 13, at 4 p.m. on Zoom.
The 2025 Massachusetts Democratic Party State Convention will be held in Western Mass on September 13th, 2025, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA. This year's convention will be a Platform Convention, where delegates will vote on the party's positions and priorities for the next four years. As part of the platform creation process, community hearings collect input defining the issues that will be on the draft presented for the vote in September.
I am cordially inviting you to join and give testimony on the issues/policies you would like to see reflected in the Democratic Platform this year. It would be great if we could get 10 registered Wilbraham Democrats to attend. Please reply to this email to let me know you registered to attend.
