I’m excited to introduce myself as a candidate for Library Trustee. In October 2024, I was honored to be appointed by the Wilbraham Select Board to fill a vacancy on the Board of Library Trustees. With the May 2025 Town Election approaching, I’m running to continue serving in this role because I believe deeply in the value our library brings to the community.
Since moving to Wilbraham in 2017, my family and I have come to truly appreciate everything this town has to offer. In recent years, I’ve had the privilege of serving on both the Personnel Advisory Board and the Commission on Disabilities, experiences that have deepened my commitment to civic engagement.
Originally from north central Massachusetts, my spouse and I attended law school in Western Mass, and after a short time working in Connecticut, we made the decision to return permanently in 2013. Today, I work as a labor and employment attorney at a local law firm. While I enjoy my career, my greatest joy is being a parent to my two children, now 7 and 10.
You’ll often find us at the library, browsing the stacks, participating in programs, and leaving with armfuls of books. My children adore the library and ask to visit multiple times a week—it’s a place of discovery, imagination, and community for our whole family.
If elected, I will continue using my legal expertise and passion for public service to support our library as an accessible, welcoming, and essential community resource. I am committed to promoting lifelong learning and helping ensure that the library continues to thrive as a cornerstone of our town for generations to come.
